Dear Friends,
I hope you had a good summer and found some ways to relax, spend time with family, travel a bit, and most of all, beat the heat! As we begin to get involved in fall activites, I wanted to extend a heartfelt invitation to you to join the Calvary Music Ministry again this year as we prepare for the Many Moods of Christmas concerts in December. I will begin introducing the MMOC music on Wednesdays in October, starting 10/8. The Chancel Choir will rehearse weekly Sunday anthems from 7:30-8:10 and then we will spend the remainder of the evening working on the MMOC repertoire (8:15-9pm). While I realize and respect the fact that not everyone can attend every Wednesday night rehearsal, the dates below are of significant importance, so please put them on your calendar right away.
Sunday, October 26 – Many Moods of Christmas Choral Workshp 1-4 pm
Monday, November 24 – MMOC Rehearsal 7-9 pm (this is in lieu of November 26)
Wednesday, December 3 – MMOC Rehearsal 7-9 pm
Saturday, December 7 – MMOC final rehearsal 9:30 am – noon
Sunday, December 7 – MMOC concerts at 2 pm and 5 pm with refreshments in between
Calvary is blessed by many talented individuals of all ages but there is always room for more people to join our Music Ministry. It is my sincere hope that you will once again sing with us in this glorious musical gift to the community.
