Where do you rehearse?

The chorus rehearses in the Choral Room at East High School, 450 Ellis Lane, West Chester, PA 19380.

When are your rehearsals?

The chorus rehearses on most Monday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 PM from September to May. Depending on the school district calendar, there are a few weeks where the rehearsal is moved to Tuesday evenings. Please check the calendar for the final information.

How do I get to the Choral Room?

From the parking lot, walk up the sidewalk/ramp toward the upper doors. Enter the lobby and turn left. Go down the hallway to the double doors. Go through the double doors and the Choral Room will be the third doorway on the right.

Is there adequate parking at the school?

Yes, There are over 300 parking places available. There is also additional parking nearby at the Fugett Middle School.

When are your concerts?

Our Winter Concert is in early January and the Spring Concert is in early May. Check the calendar for the exact dates and times when they become confirmed.

Where are your concerts?

Our concerts are in the auditorium at East High School, 450 Ellis Lane, West Chester, PA 19380.

What kind of music do you sing?

The chorus sings a variety of music including light classical, patriotic, musicals, pop, and modern music.

Can I donate to the chorus?

Yes. You can donate using Venmo at Donate To The Chorus on the home page. Or you can send a check, made out to WCACC, to 210 Equestrian Way, Downingtown, PA 19335. Your donations will help us with the purchase of music, the rental of our storage facility for our risers and also for storing our music. Since we are a 503 (3)(c) organization, your donations could be tax-deductable.

Does the chorus have dues?

Yes. The dues are $15.00 each semester. These dues are used to buy new music and for operation expenses for the chorus.

Do I need to audition for the chorus?

No. The chorus is a volunteer organization. Come, sing, and enjoy the music. You can audition for the Ensemble (a small group, 20 to 24 singers, who do a special number(s) in the concert) or for solos, if you so desire.
